London, Friday 8 May 2026<\/strong>, Close Protection World is inviting serving and transitioning Armed Forces personnel to attend the CPWorld Summer Conference in London free of charge as they explore potential next steps in the private security and close protection sector.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For many service leavers, the move from military life into civilian employment is a major professional transition. The private security and close protection sector continues to attract people with operational discipline, resilience, situational awareness and experience working in demanding environments. For those considering that route, the conference provides a direct opportunity to meet companies, hear from industry professionals and gain a clearer understanding of how the sector works in practice.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

This is particularly relevant to personnel engaging with the MOD resettlement process and the Career Transition Partnership. Official Armed Forces resettlement support includes one-to-one advice, workshops, seminars, webinars, job-seeking support, employment fairs, training opportunities and wider career support for transition into civilian life.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

The event will bring together employers, training providers, speakers and exhibitors from across the sector, giving attendees a practical overview of the commercial close protection landscape and the standards, expectations and opportunities within it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Armed Forces personnel who are considering a move into private security or close protection are invited to attend free of charge.
