London, Friday 8 May 2026, Close Protection World is inviting NHS personnel who are considering a move into the private security and close protection sector to attend the CPWorld Summer Conference in London free of charge.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Across the NHS, there are professionals with highly transferable strengths: calm communication, frontline judgement, safeguarding awareness, risk recognition, documentation discipline and the ability to operate under sustained pressure. These are qualities that are valuable in parts of the private security and close protection sector where reliability, professionalism and situational awareness are essential.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

While there is no single NHS resettlement scheme equivalent to the Armed Forces model, there are official career support and development frameworks already in place. NHS England provides early and late career support resources for NHS staff, while the College of Paramedics\u2019 post-registration and interactive career frameworks support development across clinical practice, leadership and management, education, and research and development.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

For NHS personnel exploring whether private security could form part of their next chapter, the CPWorld Summer Conference provides direct access to the sector in a professional environment. Attendees can hear from speakers, meet exhibitors and training providers and gain a better understanding of the expectations and realities of close protection and related commercial work.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
