New Speakers for the Close Protection Conference in London – Ben Owen and Danni Brooke, The OSINT Group

London, Friday 8 May 2026 – Close Protection World is pleased to welcome back Ben Owen and Danni Brooke of The OSINT Group as featured speakers at this year’s Close Protection Conference in London. Known for their specialist expertise in open-source intelligence and digital threat mitigation, both bring extensive operational experience from military, intelligence, covert policing and high-level private sector work.

Presentation Title: Trusted to Protect, Tricked in Seconds.

Presentation Summary:
In a profession built on awareness and control, the real vulnerability is often not physical, it is digital. This session reveals how security professionals and the principals they protect can be mapped and targeted through their online footprint. From patterns of life and travel routines to trusted networks, attackers can build a detailed intelligence picture without ever being seen. Through a live demonstration and real-world examples, Ben Owen and Danni Brooke show how small actions, scanning a code or clicking a link, can lead to compromise, highlighting why true protection now extends beyond the physical into the digital.
